Company History
In 1970, After 10 years of cutting his teeth in the composite can industry, Marc K Poppe founded Universal Packaging Corporation. UPC started in a modest 4,500 square foot facility in High Ridge, Missouri primarily manufacturing 3oz Grease Cartridges and Mailing Tubes. Through careful planning, calculated risks, and a little luck, UPC has managed to conservatively grow and prosper in even the most difficult economic times. Now, tooled to manufacture virtually any diameter composite can, UPC is positioned for continued growth and diversity in our product line. UPC now operates two facilities in the Midwest, with its base located in Kirkwood, Missouri - just outside of Saint Louis. Our unique position in the marketplace provides us with the ability to run large volume standard containers and uniquely designed smaller volume items. As we move into the future, our priority remains the same - we remain committed to providing high quality composite cans at competitive prices with unmatched customer service. We will never outgrow any of our customers.
